Notes: Final performance! Filmed in 16:9 widescreen. Few obstructions. Only in the wide shots when there are two heads on either side of the frame, but filmer does his/her best to shoot around them. External audio fed into video from MD recorder, so audio is very clear. A mix of close-ups and wider shots when multiple people were on stage to see their interactions. This was a gut-wrenchingly sad performance. Most of the cast members were in tears at some point or another during the show. In particular, Stephanie was sobbing through "I Just Might" and Allison started sobbing at the end of "One of the Boys". A few minor ad-libs and mishaps. One being when Allison pulled out a tape measure during the urinals bit of "One of the Boys". The cast was sad but they were clearly trying to have the times of their lives and go out with a bang. And they fed off the audience energy which was insane and very supportive.

Notes: Really beautiful shot in an intimate space. Lots of zooms, but a good amount of wider shots too with a very limited (almost nonexistent) amount of heads. The lighting in this theater really liked my camera and I know the show almost “by heart” so I think I followed the action as well as possible. My battery died during the last song, but it starts at the very beginning with only one drop out during dialogue.

Notes: This is a video of the Los Angeles sit-down production that later became the First National Tour of Evita, and stars favourite Loni Ackerman as Eva Perón and Scott Holmes giving it an absolutely flawless Che. This is, for my money, the best capture of the Hal Prince staging I've ever seen. The video seems to have been recorded on a tripod and captures just about 95% of all of the onstage action save the projections. This is also a personal thing, but the generation loss has affected the video in such a particular way that produces some pretty interesting visual effects that almost seem to assist the tone of the show.

Editor's notes: This video is an edit I made with StarCuffedJeans's video of the March 2019 Broadway performance, and I filled the blanks with other shows: The intro "Road to Hell'' is from lots-of-lists's master of January 2019 at the National Theater, in London. The intro of Act 2, "Lady of the Underground'' is from chauvelin's master, also in London, but it transitions to StarCuffedJeans's audio at the start of the song, so the musicians Persephone is introducing in the song aren't the same artists as she names. (may sound like a detail but worth mentioning! Also the ensemble in those other videos aren't the same performers in the main one!) But the video is clear, and that helps a lot to know what's going on on stage! I would have loved to fill other blackouts mid-show but the London and Broadway outfits are very different for Orpheus and Eurydice, so it doesn't really blend seamlessly, and I decided to keep the same SCJ's master all the way. The ending song, "We Raise Our Cups'' after the bows comes from another video but I don't know who is the master of this one. Also, the nice title and intermission screens were taken from everyturnandtwist's master!

StarCuffedJeans's notes: Previews! Picks up after "Road to Hell." Decent capture with a lot of beautiful zooms, two really annoying heads, and a drop out occasionally but never for long (For the first time in my mastering career I kept putting the camera down after musical numbers because I couldn't NOT clap). This was my first time seeing the show and hearing this music so I was sometimes focused on the wrong things. Oh well. Overall, I love this video. I got home at 2AM after filming it and just SOBBED while I rewatched some of my favorite moments. WHAT A SHOW!

Notes: A near perfect capture and the first known DVD of this show’s Off-Broadway run. Barrett is incredibly talented: amazing vocals,acting and comedic timing. Dan and Charissa are both fantastic in their roles as well. The show is absolutely hysterical, much improved from the movie version. The first minute of Act One is blacked out, but the show is otherwise fully intact with no blackouts and only slight washout in a few wide shots. There is no obstruction, the video is steady, the sound is excellent, and it’s captured very well with the usual mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups.
